When two people are meant to be, you just know. That was definitely the case with Sarah & Jacob, who met in the most unexpected way, when Jacob and his mates crashed a Nurses’ Christmas in July party.
Their proposal was just as memorable. Sarah had a feeling it was coming (Jacob noted her make-up that morning!) as they set off on a romantic mystery picnic through the Yass Valley and Murrumbateman wineries. Among the vines, Jacob got down on one knee and asked Sarah to be his forever.
These two officially tied the knot at The Truffle Farm in Canberra, nestled along Mount Majura Road in the heart of the ACT. Their wedding day was a total reflection of who they are as a couple — bright, relaxed, full of laughter heartwarming moments. ✨
Sarah and Jacob, your joy is infectious. From the moment you started getting ready, you both radiated happiness and a sense of calm that made capturing your day an absolute dream. Every smile, every teary eye and every belly laugh told its own story and I feel so honoured to have been the one to document it all.
The ceremony was extra special with Sarah’s mum, Jackie, also the celebrant for their wedding. Guests were treated to live performances by close friends during cocktail hour (how amazing!), and the couple’s uncle brought his energy as their fun MC. The night was topped off with shared plate-style catering from The Truffle Farm, keeping things warm, inviting, and deliciously local.
I’m still swooning over the golden hour portraits among the paddocks and the genuine connection these two share. Sarah & Jacob, thank you for trusting me to capture this unforgettable day. It was truly one for the books.
