Bri and Ben’s wedding day was filled with heartfelt moments, faith and pure joy. The kind of day that reminds me why I love capturing fun and authentic images of beautiful love stories. Their celebration started with a Christ-centred ceremony at Ginninderra Christian Church in Charnwood, followed by a beautiful reception at The Manor at Pulp in Gold Creek. From start to finish, it was a day overflowing with warmth, laughter and love.
Their story began — fittingly — at church. It took about six months before they finally introduced themselves, but once they did everything fell into place. By that point, Bri already knew Ben’s entire family and it was his mum who gave fate a little nudge when she asked Bri to pet-sit Ben’s dog, Daisy. They exchanged numbers to “chat about the dog,” and haven’t stopped texting since!
Their engagement took place in Broulee, a coastal spot that holds so many memories for them. Every January, Ben’s family camps there so it was the perfect backdrop for such a special moment. With the ocean breeze and the sound of waves crashing nearby, Ben got down on one knee and Bri said yes!
Their wedding day beautifully reflected their shared faith and love for community. The ceremony was filled with heartfelt worship, surrounded by family and friends who have been such an important part of their journey. Afterwards, everyone gathered at The Manor at Pulp where the charm and golden tones set the perfect scene for an evening full of celebration.
Their story is a beautiful reminder that love often blooms in the most unexpected places, even during a simple “dog-sitting” arrangement! It was such an honour to capture this day and all the genuine joy that surrounded them.
